Segura Wedding Invitation

“We are very happy with how our invitations came out. Even now almost 5 years later, I feel like the design and style could still be used today.”

Project Specification

When designing event packages choosing the right colors and fonts is very important. These choices are what will let the guests easily determine if it's a child's birthday party or a wedding without having to read the invitation.

For our wedding invitations we decided to use mainly black and white. The only elements that would have color would be the photographs and the social media icons in the photo card.

We decided to go with black and white because we wanted the design to feel elegant and timeless.

Engagement Photography Credit goes to Photographer Izayah Ramos.

To keep the invitations looking clean and elegant, we used two sans serif fonts and one cursive font.

We used Porcelain as our cursive font for the text that needed emphasized hierarchy. For everything else we wanted a clean font that was easy to read so we used Arial Narrow throughout and Century Gothic, Bold as our secondary font for hierarchy.

The only symbol we placed on our invitations was a cross. We placed two of them on our ceremony invitation.

We wanted to add a simple element where our names were placed and since it was a Christian wedding and it took place in our church we found the cross was perfect.
